A music box transcription of the Korean folk tune "Arirang" as arranged by one of my favorite choral artists, Sonja Poorman.
LYRICS FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT:
Hangeul:
아리랑, 아리랑, 아라리요~
아리랑 고개로 넘어간다.
나를 버리고 가시는 님은,
십리도 몯가서 발병난다.
Romanized:
"Arirang, Arirang, Arariyo~
Arirang gogaero neom-eoganda.
Nareul beorigo gasineun nimeun,
Siprido motgaseo balbyeongnanda."
And in English (going by Ms. Poorman's translation):
"Arirang, Arirang, My love has gone.
(S)He has crossed o'er the hill named 'Arirang'.
If (S)he leaves me and does not return to me,
(S)he will soon long for me, O, Arirang."
