A demo for songs based in 2 vs. songs based in 3. This version, without triplets, is playable on a 15 note box without having to be spun at an obscene tempo and using lots of paper. Look to my other version of this song for more info on that.
Wow! It seems like this melody can be played offline on a 15 note paper strip music box!
All you need to do is:
This version has triplets, but is much too fast to be played on a music box. I tried to use photoshop to scale it down so that it would use less paper and have notes punched in between the lines, but it became too complicated since the PDF breaks the strip into sections instead of having a continuous strip. Hopefully, I can find a good solution for songs with triplets in MBM soon! Truthfully, if I was disciplined enough I could do the math to downsize this arrangement; I've done it before. But it takes a lot of time and effort, and I'm hoping I can find a good solution for others, too.
