Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors.
Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise
the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going
to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together.
Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!
Hey there, I read your forum post and while I can't offer any physical assistance, I wanted to reach out to see if I can help. I was a choir senior myself just last year so seeing your post warmed my heart a little. I'm reaching out here because I wanted to talk about this melody. I'm not sure if you're still thinking about undertaking the project, but converting this arrangement to a K15 model would make your gifts a lot more affordable. If you have any questions about the process of DIY boxes, please let me know! You can reach me on this comment thread or at erinmusicbox@gmail.com.
