Hole punch paper strips Export

Yay! It looks like this melody can be played offline on a 30 note paper strip music box!

All you need to do is:

  1. Get a 30 note DIY Music Box Kit from our online store page if you don't have one
  2. Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors. Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together. Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
  3. Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
  4. Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!

hey um?? i was wondering, did you export my arrangement and turn the pitch down about a few steps/just blatantly copy it or something? the note patterns match up exactly the same and i worked really hard on my original version. id really appreciate if you could take this down or something similar because you never asked for permission to publish my work in a lower pitch. thanks !

Hello! This site has function of clone any melody. Thank you that you post this composition. You are great.
But this is 30 note version for people who have 30 note music box. You version is 60 note (there is no music box to fits it). Some people cant transpose 60 to 30 - this version can helps them.
There is many people on this site, who clones my works and dont ask any permissions (and I work really hard too) For the primer: game of thrones and other.
If you want that I delete this version - I will delete.

Hi guys. I think the reason why you have this talk is that @DiyMusicBox exported the melody to MIDI file and imported it back as a new one when he did transposing. I've linked these two melodies together, so that everybody could see it. I hope it will help us to avoid misunderstandings in future. As a suggestion - if you want to add another version of the melody by exporting and importing it back, please do the following:
- export original melody
- clone original melody
- import MIDI file to cloned melody
- publish it
This will keep the link between parent melody and its variation.
Hope it makes sense :)

Another option that most of people would accept is to provide a link to the original melody page in the description.
