{Made, 26/12/2019, but never posted}

I have never felt such rollercoaster-emotions over a melody as I have with this one.

This was finished *five* years ago, and I just- apparently never posted it?? I guess-?
Deemed it not good enough or something at the time I suppose, who knows. I was growing rather critical when I stopped publishing melodies here after all (as that's kinda why I stopped)

Anyway, I spent *two hours* of my little life looking for this melody 'cause it popped in my head during chores, and I was like, "Hey, I remember this. I'm gonna shove it in Reaper, edit it a bit, and make some lyrics for it"

New song for the new year, right? :D

Well, I didn't *have* it in my midi folder on my pc 'cause I ***never posted the darn thing***!!
Why I remembered a five-year-old melody that way never published is beyond me, but regardless, I found it, and am posting it now! :D

---------------------------------------------

Also, today marks a lovely five years since I first joined this site! I know I'm not very active here anymore, if at all. But that's okay! This place was a stepping stone for what I do now.

I might be slow with making music and stories, but those are my main hobbies now! And I'm very happy -- something I haven't always gotten to say.

Either way, I won't ramble much despite such being what I'm known for besides spamming emoticons :') So I hope whoever may be reading this has a wonderful day/night!

(And please don't expect much activity from me. I'm posting this purely 'cause I want the melody and the whole 'why not post it' factor since I'm here, and it's the 21st)

Hole punch paper strips Export

Yay! It looks like this melody can be played offline on a 30 note paper strip music box!

All you need to do is:

  1. Get a 30 note DIY Music Box Kit from our online store page if you don't have one
  2. Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors. Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together. Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
  3. Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
  4. Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!

Fun-fact time! :D This was titled as 'lol' in my draft folder.
Why? I haven't a clue!

I don't even use 'lol'! D:
