I'm currently doing a bunch of research to try to make some music for friends as gifts but I don't understand the notes (mainly why it goes C,D,G or why some sharps and flats aren't there) are some notes labeled differently or are they actually what is annotated on the sheet?
I have printed the paper strips but it's not thick enough. Consequently, the sound is weeker than original paper's one. What is the problem? The paper scale, huh?
I have a music box that my kids took apart and I think we have lost a screw that connects the box to the turning plate (it does not have a turning key, it has a flat circle with holes in it for your finger to turn). It seems like it would have to be a screw with no head but I'm not sure?? Thanks
Hello, i build a motorized music box, but it rotates irregular some time. I think it is because of the pressure on the paper strip caused by those plastic wheels. I thought about sanding the wheels (i may break the box, because without the pressure the axis will stop rotating), using a stronger motor or just live with it and call it charming. What are your thoungts on this? Any other ideas?
