30-note music box teeth roll does not rotate properly.

Hello, first-time music box composer here! I have a problem which I haven't seen anyone comment on: The metal teeth on the roll below the white cylinder stop rotating after playing their notes, or take a long pause to play them. It seems the teeth are too loose on the roll, so they stop rotating halfway through the roll, causing them not to grab in the holes of the paper... I don't know if my explanation is that great but I hope someone can help me with this, I am so excited to get my song to play on the music box! Should I record a video showing how it happens?

I figured it out! The explanation is that I am a total newbie, fortunately there are no problems on the music box! For any newbies like me who end up in this post, here is what you may be doing wrong: The paper strip must be entered on the box through the space below the reflective flat metal piece, not on top of it (picture linked below). It may be a dumb thing to do but they should at least do some sort of blocking so that the paper can't pass through the top space...

Almost sure at least one of the teeth the second cog (extermal, the small one) has broten. It is caused mainly for tu rasons:

1. You tri to pullas te tape outside of the box with th hand.

2. You usted a thicker paper tapete than the required.

3. You tried to mover the tape counterclockwise direction.

Esther you buy a new one or nuy one of these spare parte, they are pretty good however the machina mates a little bit more noise.
