Last 2 times when I printed 30 notes melodies, cut and punched them, and try them in the electric music box movement that is very delicate, that not play a melody if there is a mm difference, I realized that the actual size was very smaller than a 30 notes, ready to punch paper, so actually I have to punch entirely the whole melody, instead of printing, whats happening with the pdfs??
Sorry to hear that you are having troubles with printing out the strips. May I ask you to double check that you've chosen the right paper format in export dialog (there are multiple metric and US formats to choose from) and that your printer is set to use original (100%) page scale when printing? I don't think we've changed anything regarding PDF generation in the last few months. When exactly did you start experiencing the problem and was the strip size correct before the last two melodies you've tried?
i also have the GI30 and no matter what paper size i choose or how i fiddle wit it i always have this same problem. i never managed to resolve it so i have to buy the strips from the website and punch out by eye
I haven't tried printing anything yet since my music box hasn't arrived, but with my CAD experience you need to accurately set the paper size in Adobe Reader and choose "Actual Size" in the Page Size & Handling section in the print dialog box. I use that when printing out templates for drilling boxes and it works great.
