I haven't tried, but I think it's possible on a standard 30 note. Has anyone made songs with triplets before? It'd be awesome if this site supports them as well.
In Create, you can cheat your way around with increasing your bpm and using the finer grid. A "triplet" or a "free" function has already been suggested in the forum. Right now i don´t bother in create and remember triplet-parts when i transfer it to the paper.
On paper you don´t pay attention to the grid and devide the bar in three sections, all the same size. You can place your four notes on the new grid (first and last are on the original grid, the other two in between and off grid).
just treat 6 columns as one crotchet (choose 3/4 rhythm even if it's 4/4 in the original score). 2 columns = 1 triplet quaver, 3 columns = 1 normal quaver.
You can't make them on this website. We've suggested it, but it hasn't happened yet. What I do is stack two of the three notes on top of each other in the website, and then I have to remember later to space them out by hand when I punch them.
Yeah, @frederickgam's solution works well for songs in 6/8, 9/8, or 12/8 but not for songs where you are inserting triplets in a duple meter. Best to just remember those notes for later when you do the punching.
