I’ve been working on a piece of music for music box, and realized partway through how much of a hassle it would be for me to punch out the holes to the precision I would need. Instead, I developed a python script to create dxf files for me to laser cut.
This script should be able to work with any of the paper strip music boxes on the market by just editing the global variables at the top of the script. The rest of the instructions are on the github page!
