Hello, I am new here. Thanks for this forum and this wonderful website. I have a problem when i try to import midi file from fruity loops. The rythm is not respected. I have some gap between chords For exemple, i have an Aminor on the first time of second bar and after import it's on the second time . I really don't understand what's happen. Another people with this problem ? A particular midi editor is recommanded ? I can put some photo somewhere to show you. Sorry for my bad english Thanks for your help David
i try it with samplitude an a free midi editor and the problem is still the same. Sometime The website put one beat between two notes with no reason...
Hi there and thanks for your question. The problem you are describing might be related to the fact that the midi import feature on our website requires a certain level of granularity of the note grid. If you are trying to place the notes closer to each other than the minimum supported distance, they will end up on the same bar. I’d recommend you to export one of the melodies from our website as a midi file and open it in your midi editor. Doing this will hopefully show you the distance between the notes that the website expects.
Hello ! Thanks a lot for your help. I did it this morning and it help me to find the problem. To import in the create section, you must have a clean and formated midi partition. The duration of my note was not exact. some lasted 1 time while others lasted 0.5. So after few bar, there was a decay between line. The solution i found is to QUANTIZE all my note to a duration of 1 and a exact start at the bar. The problem had been resolve. Thanks again. And this website is very very great thanks for it David
