Problem with motorized music box

Hello, i build a motorized music box, but it rotates irregular some time. I think it is because of the pressure on the paper strip caused by those plastic wheels. I thought about sanding the wheels (i may break the box, because without the pressure the axis will stop rotating), using a stronger motor or just live with it and call it charming. What are your thoungts on this? Any other ideas?

I just baught an motorized music box and also have the same problem, the seller told me they are working on it to fix the it, but they didn't tell me how. Now I still can't play melodica & music box at the same time. I think stronger motor might be better. You should try.

I´ve just watched your video about that. I´m a Wintergatan fan as well, really cool! I think i got two options right now. First I´m gonna reduce the friction on Mr. Engywoocks Bodyparts and when it doesnt work I think i have to go with your solution. Nice to know, that i´m not the only one with that problem!
