Squeaky sounding mechanism (15 note music box)

Hello there!

Im a new music box composer and Ive been loving using my kikkerland music box, but lately, I noticed some weird squeaking sounds whenever i wind it up. Whenever I play a song, the wind up mechanism also seem to be a bit cranky, and not too smooth as it was when I first got it, causing a few stops in my music playing.

The sound is all and well though, and as far as ive noticed, there's nothing out of the ordinary, its just the squeaking and cranking stops that's out of place. Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks! I really love making music box pieces, and it would mean the world if you guys can assist me with this. 💕
