I'm a newbie here so please forgive me for asking just one stupid question. When I'm writing my own music box music in the create section and import a melody then change the format for 15-note box nearly all of the musical notes are lost. Is there any way around this?
Hi, when you switch melody types in the editor, make sure that all notes are placed within the new melody type note range. All notes, that don't fit in the new range will be removed. There are buttons for shifting all notes up and down. I hope it helps.
Hi, the method I am using to convert from full range 60 to the 30 note might help you to do your conversion as well.
1. Import your song and on Settings, check the melody type. I believe it should be on full range 60 after importing 2. Open another "Create" tab on your browser and check the differences between the notes that exists on 15-note box and the FR-60. - all the notes that your 15-note box does not have will not appear if you change the format 3. On the FR-60 tab, one by one, check every "line" that your music box won't support. If there is a note on that line, move it to closest supported note at the same column. (e.g. change any C3 to C4, C7 to C6) 4. After all the changes, you can go on settings and change the melody type.
*** you might want to save while you go through this :-) *** I'm not sure about what to do if there are #'s and b's on your song because the 15-box does not support them as well and replacing them might make the song look different.

Thanks. Should I move the notes to the middle of the range in which they are imported, or to the top?

Thanks. That helps a lot.
