Does anyone (still/use to/would like to) collect things?
I do, skeleton keys and broken clock pieces, mainly the gears. (I know, it's odd)

Hope everyone's doing good today/night!

Hole punch paper strips Export

Wow! It seems like this melody can be played offline on a 15 note paper strip music box!

All you need to do is:

  1. Get a 15 note DIY Music Box Kit from our online store page if you don't have one
  2. Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors. Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together. Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
  3. Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
  4. Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!

Yeah, i found it on a beach near Lake Michigan, and it's never leaving my dorm

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 4:54 p.m.

Nice find! Only thing I've ever found at lake Erie was broken glass and an apple core.

well sea glass can look awesome

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 5:16 p.m.

Sea glass would be fun to find! Sadly, the glass I've found was never that pretty...

Holy shit, me too!
I legit go to second-hand markets, purchase old watches, pick them apart and save what's inside.
...although, I wouldn't say I "collect" the pieces. I just build something else with 'em. :P

Behold- Watch Man!

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 7:08 p.m.

Really? What do you build? If you don't mind me asking.
I wish I knew more about clock work. Whenever a watch or clock breaks for anyone in my family they give me the clock.
I have three sitting on my desk right now.

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 7:12 p.m.

Watch man, Controller of time! that'd be a fun power!

I make, pretty much, steampunk miniatures.
Tiny motorcycles, goggles, robots etc.
I'm currently working on a miniature dragon, but it'll take a long-ass while until its done.

ROBObermann on Feb. 11, 2019, 11:49 p.m.

I used to collect bottle caps. There's hundreds of them... somewhere

Grey on Feb. 12, 2019, 4:39 a.m.

Robobermann
Wait what the hell? I used to do that too.
I've got a box of them on my shelf.

ROBObermann on Feb. 12, 2019, 11:54 a.m.

What a coincidence XD

Kaleidiope on Feb. 12, 2019, 1:41 p.m.

That's Really Cool, Helena! :D
What kind of bottle caps, Robobermann?

ROBObermann on Feb. 12, 2019, 2:10 p.m.

The metal ones you would find on glass bottles. I glued some together and made a miniature wagon for a random school project
