Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors.
Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise
the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going
to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together.
Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit

Terra's theme. Terra Branford, known as Tina Branford[a] in Japanese, is a fictional character in the Final Fantasy series and the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VI. Yoshitaka Amano and Tetsuya Nomura designed her for the main series installment. She also appears in the spin-off fighting game series Dissidia Final Fantasy and the rhythm series Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. She has made small appearances in several other games in and outside the Final Fantasy series.
Terra is a 19-year-old young woman who is the daughter of a human mother and a father who is an Esper, a magical creature with the natural ability to use powerful magic. She was mentally enslaved by the evil Gestahlian Empire, who used her gifted powers to wage war on the empire's neighboring countries. Several rebels rescue her at the beginning of Final Fantasy VI, and she decides to aid their campaign and protect those whose lives were affected by the Empire.
Developers, who initially planned Branford to be a young man, designed her character to start as a passive person in the first half of the game to show her growth throughout the story. Terra's character has received positive critical reception, with game journalists and fans alike praising her complexity and unique backstory. She has been on many lists of gamers' favorite Final Fantasy characters and is one of the most well-known video game characters to date.
Been a huge fan of the series since the first Nes Title. Square Enix makes great content both games and music made by them is sure to satisfy the soul. :)
Thanks for the recommendation. I've always wanted to play Final Fantasy---I think I tried playing FFIV when I was little and ended up playing Chrono Trigger instead, which is near and dear to my heart. Hopefully I'll come back and revisit the series someday...
If you liked Chrono Trigger, You may Enjoy the Dragon Quest series or Final Fantasy 7. Reason being the art in dragon quest, and chrono trigger was made by the same guy who created Dragon Ball Z something our generation certainly grew up with from original dragon ball to dragon ball z at least. All that said Chrono Trigger was the "unofficial" final fantasy 7 something to tie us over till the psx passion project (Final Fantasy 7) was completed. They never could have guessed with the SNES seeing its final days and ps1 around they would produce a game that sold that well so late in the consoles life time. But we as fans couldn't get enough of Chrono truth be told, because there would come a time where it was so obvious, so apparent that Chrono was in demand they had to release a Nintendo DS full fledged better graphics remake of chrono trigger on the 3ds, Today? Finial Fantasy is in that same proverbial boat of nostalgia, with a remake of final fantasy 7 coming soon that's sure to blow our collective minds? Perhaps now is a good time to grab EPSXE emulator and a ISO file of Final Fantasy 7 from the internet. This will let you load that ISO file with the EPSXE emulator and play any of the thousands of games for PlayStation 1 for free! just have to grab the game iso and the emulator and your set. Look into it. I am certain you are both tech savvy and clever enough to get it sorted. Would be a great experience because FInal Fantasy 7 is to this game the best damn game ive ever played. What's more "CHRONO CROSS" is on ps1 and it is the sequel to chrono trigger (while to me its certainly not as good as chrono trigger. It is also something i wouldn't have wanted to miss out on based on the music and lore and abundance of replay value/side quests alone.
For context, as stated there on the site "PSX Bios – Playstation PS1 Bios (SCPH1001.bin) BIOS. A BIOS file is a mandatory component that has one goal – to make the emulator work."
Wow thank you!! That's super helpful and I'll certainly be looking back here to reference those links. I don't have a whole lot of time to play video games these days but I do own a copy of Chrono Cross and hope to play it soon!
the emulator will play dc from the cd rom drive of your pc as well! it supports it. That said if you own the disk I bet you already have a ps1. Theres a trick on them called "swaploit" a swap disk at the time the Bios screen shows that lets you play burned cd's on an official ps1 as well with no mod chip. Kinda neat and few know it can be done. check it out https://youtu.be/yDopEevII3o
so one could use a vitual drive to mount the iso files as well and that would work to play from dc rom with epsxe youd be quite surprised what clever tricks us homebrewers have devised over the years to exploit a game console. (Quite often less so for piracy and more so for linux to be sure) But ive always enjoyed the piracy as well personally lol.
the irony about piracy is that if i download an iso of a game i like? I am tech savvy enough to also know that if i want to support that game or its creators i have to buy a NEW copy of the game. Those who buy used games from say EB games or GameStop, FYE etc? do far more damage to the industry than pirates do, Because unlike the nerdy guy who downloaded the iso, liked the game after trying it and supported it knowing thats required for a sequel? The used game buyer is quite often oblivious of the fact only NEW SALES go to the developer and used games sales are in practice just as detrimental if not more so than the small percentage of players smart enough and with time enough to hack a game console for custom firmware and used a pirated game. Do you know what's even more interesting? correlation is not causation that said, you will note systems that do not support Linux or other os will be hacked to do so almost inevitably. (Piracy will be a ramification of the unsigned code exploit required to enable linux) that's usually how that goes tbh. 27ccc presentation called Team Fail Overflow mentions that in regard to game console exploitations. The reality is if you like a game or its developer you wanna buy that shit brand new, but if you want to try it and have the means to do so? Why the hell not right? It is your money and knowing what you are spending it on matters. Thats why we TRY ON a pair of pants or a shirt in the dressing room, before making the choice to buy it isnt it? Very analogous to that imho.
If youve time and interest in the topic you can watch how we do these things and here seghar of team fail overflow mention this when he presents the exploitation methods used in the Sony Ps3 for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuIlbmn-4A4
Very interesting point about used game purchases---I'd never stopped to think about that. I have a bit of a "creative budget" that I put towards art/media I like. Perhaps I'll use that to support indie developers I like sometime.
Indie devs have a bit more of a unique need for our support than a first party title for obvious subjective reasons. That said one of the absolute smartest things an indie dev can do is simply start a kickstarter or a gofundme, We have to keep in mind a homebrewer such as myself who has coded for many consoles ranged from the dreamcast, psp, 3ds, wii and ps3 that my resources as a homebrewer are NOT that of a first party console manufacturer such as Nintendo, Sony or Microsofts studios. But another interesting fact? MOST SMART HOMEBREW AND INDIE DEVELOPERS GIVE THEIR GAME AWAY FREE untill it has reached a point in its dev cycles that it is WORTHY of a fee. They tend to be more humble and care a lot more than your average first party game studio, they want to succeed far more, it means more to them. Thats why they LET US TRY IT FIRST. Any game that at the very least produces a FREE DEMO VERSION is going to be wildly more successful. Even if you do not bring piracy into the discussion, this applies to the fact a decent demo can sell the final copy for many gamers. People just want to know that hat they invest in is worth their time, energy and money ya know.
Also think about the BLIND CONSUMPTION FACTOR that has RUINED games such as the Pokemon franchise. When a dev gets SO successful that it becomes complacent and its users do as well. Blind consumerism is why for example we dont have a FULL POKEDEX in games we play today you GOTTA CATCH SOME instead of "you gotta catch em all" and why you have to pay 35$ for your "Melmetal" or legendary pokemon, after installing a app that spies on you and data mines every way it can then makes you sign a legal waver for them to do it and WE ACTUALLY PLAYED ALONG https://oratto.co.uk/wiki/commercial-solicitors/articles/pokemon-go-terms-of-service (pokemon go anyone? lol) and all this when the company has not produced a WORTH YOUR MONEY game since pokemon silver and gold. But ninty knows you'll go right out and buy that shit no critical thought about the dev applied. They were manipulating children and even adults psyche since your PARENTS WERE KIDS.. lol So its no wonder their switch has a shop full of ports like saints row 3 that are new to switch users but OLD ASS GAMES selling for LAUNCH PRICES sometimes even. Nintendo fans never leave their lil comfort box and never due diligence they lack the integrity to apply critical thought when making a purchase and frankly? That's why they will stop producing decent console titles and pump out more angry birds mobile style games it cost them no money and no talent to produce and if they market it well enough and sell enough copies based on a shady add on youtube or twitch they know they will sell x amount of copies and profit they dont care how you feel after the sale. A company like that never had or has lost any semblance of integrity just like we do when we purchase a game like a blind consumer with no forethought in regards to critical thought prior to the purchase.
then for this last source link I will leave you A REALLY GOOD LAUGH! hahahaha! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AyVh1_vWYQ This was by the "onion news" pendency channel back when the ps3 came out that plays on blind consumerism by gamers.

Wow, that's so cool! I had no idea of the story behind this tune. Thanks for that!
