*shrugs shoulders* ( I don't really have anything to say...)

Does anyone else have words that they really like? Lull just sounds so nice to me!

Hope you're having a good day!

Hole punch paper strips Export

Wow! It seems like this melody can be played offline on a 15 note paper strip music box!

All you need to do is:

  1. Get a 15 note DIY Music Box Kit from our online store page if you don't have one
  2. Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors. Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together. Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
  3. Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
  4. Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!

I like the word "pixie". I don't know why, or how, but... pixie.

Helena on Feb. 8, 2019, 2:45 p.m.

I like the word "defenestration"...

...it has such a wonderful message to it, y'know? :3

KagamineLen on Feb. 8, 2019, 9:57 p.m.

palisade is fun too

Kaleidiope on Feb. 8, 2019, 11:32 p.m.

Those are fun words! I first heard of "defenestration"not to long ago. "Palisade" is a new one for me, I like it!

Kaleidiope on Feb. 9, 2019, 12:26 a.m.

"Langsam" is a German word I like. (It means slowly)

KagamineLen on Feb. 9, 2019, 12:46 a.m.

i'm resisting the urge to mention that despacito means the same thing in spanis- OH WAIT

Kaleidiope on Feb. 9, 2019, 12:57 a.m.

Ah ha!! I never knew that!

Helena on Feb. 9, 2019, 1:36 p.m.

Wait a minute!
"Långsam" in Swedish means slow!

KagamineLen on Feb. 9, 2019, 3:34 p.m.

🤯

Kaleidiope on Feb. 9, 2019, 9:12 p.m.

whoa! Cool! I've been learning German for a little while now, I wonder if there's other words that are the same.

Helena on Feb. 9, 2019, 9:19 p.m.

Probably. For how long have you been learning German?

Kaleidiope on Feb. 9, 2019, 9:51 p.m.

Hmm, Let's see...I think July 7th of last year.

Helena on Feb. 9, 2019, 11:18 p.m.

That's cool!
(if you don't mind me asking) What "phase" would you say you're in?
Like... are you still learning the basics, can you keep up a conversation, etc...?

...sorry, I'm just curious cause I know it's a very hard language to learn...

Kaleidiope on Feb. 9, 2019, 11:30 p.m.

I can't hold conversation. I know a few statements, like: " Ich mag Katzen", " I like cats".
I'm learning on a site called, "Duolingo" and on there I'm a level 14, with a "crown level" of 73. It says I've learned 332 words.
But, I can't really say what phase i'm at. Probably still fairly beginner, though! :3

KagamineLen on Feb. 10, 2019, 11:39 a.m.

Ich habe zwei Katzen, eine ist Edward, die andere ist Bigglesworth!

KagamineLen on Feb. 10, 2019, 12:13 p.m.

You're a .192er. Not bad, considering i know zip in korean!

Kaleidiope on Feb. 10, 2019, 9:58 p.m.

Really? I have two cats, myself! (Star and Coin.)

Helena on Feb. 11, 2019, 1:08 a.m.

In Sweden we have this school subject called "Språkval", basically meaning "Language selection", for about three years.
You pretty much have to choose one out of three different languages (French, Spanish and German) to learn.
(I chose Spanish)

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 1:28 a.m.

Cool! I'm learning mainly just for fun. Did you enjoy learning Spanish? I have a German pen-pal that I've wrote to for roughly ten years now. I do hope to write a letter to them in German one day!

Helena on Feb. 11, 2019, 2:07 a.m.

Nice! Yeah, it was alright although I've forgotten most of it now.
Honestly though... As long as you keep having a genuine interest in learning German, it probably won't be too long until you write that letter.

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 2:18 a.m.

100% honesty, I wasn't too serious at first. I'm unsure if you know about vocaloids? But, "Clock Work-P" made vocaloid fukase sing a song in german called "Fernes Uhrenticken". I LOVED that song and that's what made me want to learn it fluently. I've really enjoyed it so far and enjoying it is what makes me want to write the letter. Here's to hoping I get to sooner than later!

KagamineLen on Feb. 11, 2019, 2:29 a.m.

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 2:50 a.m.

Helena on Feb. 11, 2019, 2:54 a.m.

Well if that isn't something I can stand by, I don't know what is. :D

Kaleidiope on Feb. 11, 2019, 3:40 p.m.

There's just one problem now. I really want to see a chicken in cosplay!

KagamineLen on Feb. 11, 2019, 3:54 p.m.
