I put "små grodorna" in google translate, and it told me it said, "Small frogs". So, I looked that up, and wasn't disappointed! Why don't we have things like that?! And if we do, why don't I know about them?! XD
Ahh.. my childhood... Dancin' and hoppin' around a pole, wearing flowercrowns and enjoying the unstable swedish weather... Lookin' like the happiest cult in the world and no one questions it.. If this isn't pride, then I don't know what is XD
We used to do this thing when I was younger, where the entire neighborhood had an Easter party where we would wait at the community center where they had some really cool games and stuff, until we saw the Easter bunny dancing in the street, and we would follow her to my grandma's house because there was a big plot of land where you could hide tons of Easter eggs. So there was a community wide Easter egg hunt at my grandma's. My sister and I would get to have a second day of Easter where we tried to find all the harder ones that people missed, but I was and still am terrible at Easter egg hunting, so she always had twice as much as me.
Holy crap, your grandma went all out. That's amazing! I am the youngest of four and when we were kids, my grandma used to buy us one Easter egg each (those bigger ones made of plastic with different types of candy inside). Then we ran out in the backyard and hid them for each other. There used to be a dead "peeled" tree with no branches and the crown was completely sawed off, so it was basically a three meter (I guess nine or ten feet..?) high tree trunk with a flat top. Anyway, one Easter when I was out searching, I found my egg perfectly placed on the top of the sawed off tree. But that's not the point...
My point is, that my oldest brother somehow managed to climb up that tree, carrying MAH FRICKIN' EGG, wearing a PLASTER CAST CAUSE HIS ARM WAS BROKEN!
.......anyway, my parents made him climb up and retrive it for me, so crisis avoided I guess :D
Also.. In parts of Sweden we do this thing at Easter eve where we collect a bunch of twigs and branches and form a huge pile on top of a large rock hill or a little mountain. Later, when it's dark outside, we light it on fire...
...and then we look at it...
yep...
It's called a "Påskefyr" or "Påskbrasa", meaning Easterfire. (Easter=Påsk) (fire=brasa)
Wow, it's really cool learning about all the stuff you guys do! The closest thing I have to a holiday tradition is caroling with my high school choir every Christmas, and we do it maybe 8-10 nights in December. I look forward to it every year because I love singing Christmas carols, but that's about to change since I go to college this year.
Speaking of, today's my last day home before I go on a camping trip for three weeks, and then I move into college. So I'll be off the grid completely for a bit, but I'll see you guys again soon :)

When I looked it up I seen a video, it looks so fun! People of all ages dancing around looking so happy! XD
I was really confused before you clarified that Kaleidiope.
Google kept showing me pictures of frogs XD
XD I still wish we had things like this!
Me too. I don't really have any fun traditions that my family does, so that looked like a whole lot of fun.

Well I hope you have a good time on the trip, erin! :)
It'll be pretty empty here without ya but hopefully we can manage.
I sure will! And you guys'll be alright. I'll be back soon :)
I stand corrected. Why don't 𝘐 have things like this! XD
But really, that stuff sounds so much fun!
And I hope you have fun on your trip, Erin!
