Export the melody to PDF with paper strips, print it out and cut with scissors.
Make sure to use the right paper size and set you printer scale to 100%, otherwise
the size won't match. It's better when paper strips are thick, so if you are going
to use thin office paper, we recommend you to glue two or three layers together.
Another option is to laminate paper strips with a transparent duct tape
Punch holes with a tool from the music box kit
Enjoy your favorite melody playing on a real music box!
Very good, but set a 150 bmp pls, because your song are slower than orinigal melody.
most decent music boxes ARE at a reduced bpm (food for thought its generally a good idea to make each note feel right in a music box to reduce bpm till you have a clean melody in practice physical music boxes simply sound better that way) that said one can quite easily make a clone and adjust it to their liking.
also I made a bit more complex version of the music box if you are interested? https://musicboxmaniacs.com/explore/melody/wintergatan-marble-machine-music-box_93947/
