Hey there! I was looking through paper strip music boxes in the interest of buying one, and it looks like the only ones available are types that you crank it with your hand to play it. However, are there any available like the more traditional format in which you turn the little crank multiple times and then let it play? I'd prefer that type, but I haven't yet found any that are compatible with the paper strips. If someone has found this sort of thing, and could provide a purchase link, I'd appreciate it very much! i have this goal for my next project to create a wind up music box (eventually the goal is to create one from recycled & repurposed material).

does anyone know any resources that might help me? it's been hard to find anything that have the wind up mechanism feature.

I have a quandary. I have arranged Abba's Thank you for the Music using Musicscore3 and saved it in three Midi files - melody, accompaniament and counter melody. All three files sound great but if I import as three files combined they seem out of sync. I am not clever enough to work out what is going on. is anyone up for the challeng?. If you are how do I get the files to you? TIA

After just a couple used the plastic gears connecting the winder to the box start squeaking. Not sure how to remedy plastic gear squeaking. Any suggestions (besides getting a new one cause this thing was expensive to import :s)?

I wasn’t going to bother asking, but it’s driving me nuts that I haven’t figured out what the purple music note with a number after it means! Google doesn’t know. I’m on an iPad and was thinking maybe it’s clickable on a computer, but I don’t have a computer… so… Someone please tell me before I go insane! Lol

Hi for a Project I'm looking for the right paper that I can use for Kikkerland 15. I'm looking for paper I can Print by myself (don't need to be bigger than A4/A3) and I can cut it by myself to Music strips. I've already tried Fotopaper 300g/m(works but color gets scratches) , "normal" 100 g/m paper (not stable enough) and glossy 200g/m (doesnt have enough grip so it doesn't move through the Music box even (lagging)
Do you have recommendations? Is the paper not heavy enough or has it not enough grip?
