This Python program automates the whole process of converting a 30-note DXF file exported from musicmanics.com to an SVG file that can be directly uploaded to and cut by Cricut Design Space. Demo is here: https://youtu.be/y3J86qpPQiQ

Other methods of doing this worked, but without Illustrator, I needed an alternative. My husband wrote this program to help me out. Hopefully his sharing it will be fun for others as well.
Quiero hacer varias cajitas con diferentes canciones, pero no se como, ni de donde sacar las notas de las canciones, ¿hay algun video o cursode ustedes que me pueda ayudar?
I have modofied a song which contains a number of tuplets. Can I reproduce these on a paper strip by making the holes slightly closer than the printed lines and will the fingers be able to recover sufficiently to play them (they are not the same note) and secondly when I transfer my MP3 file to the MMM editing programme it doesn't recognise them and throws out the remainder of the tune. Anyone a solution?
First of all thank you for the great music ressource I could find here. I bought a 30 note music and wanted to automated the punching process. I ended coding some script to automatically generate from a midi file a 3D printable set of boards.
Should one of you be interestested, here is a link to thingiverse where I posted the application too (thing:5390853) : www.thingiverse.com/thing:5390853
I've been noticing bots uploading a lot of melodies in a short period. Well to not create more confusion, I'm not referring to actual people who upload a lot (e.g., erin). Most of them seem to be named "hm" with a sequence of numbers that consist of 5 digits after it. After listening to the melodies uploaded by the assumed bots, the melodies seem to be some kind of remixes or alterations of an original melody: which doesn't really consider the melodies as copies in a sense. The assumed bots are making it pretty difficult to see others' melodies, which is kind of annoying. Since it'll make it harder for people to get any views on their melodies. Any thoughts?
P.S.: Moderators, if possible, can you find a way to tone down the spam?
