I made a little song in an app called medly, and it lets you export it as a midi file. I wanted this song to be played with a music box-type sound, and I found this website which says it can import midi, so I was really excited! But... I can’t figure out how to import it.
What method do you guys use to get the printer paper exports onto card stock? I've tried laminating the printer paper with packing tape, taping 3 sheets of printer paper together, etc, without much success. I was wondering if I could use a glue stick and just glue the sheets to card stock but thought that might be too thick and am hoping that asking here will save much time experimenting.
Today I dissected my 30 note music box completely and found pieces of tape from the topmost, F# to the bottom-most note, C. I have no clue why the tape is there and I want to know if it is safe to remove.
I have Kikkerland 15, I need Chopin - Nocturne I’m searched this and I’m find this. When I want to convert it 15 notes version, everything distorted. Tempo, notes, rhythm everything. I need this :
I have no clue how to make music strips, so would someone create a printable one for me from a song, please, its for anniversary present and I am lost on how to create it so it sounds good :(
How do I improve the sound of a 30 note music box? Does the type of wood that I will be using plays a big part on improving sound or not? Because I am considering finding a plastic box that can fit the 30 note music box
So, I have a melody called Can't Help It - Anarbor that says it was published on 1/31/19, which it was, but it doesn't show up at the top of my melodies where the latest melodies go. Rather, it sorts itself somewhere in the middle of June when I sort my melodies by "latest". I'm guessing this is a bug?
This is a very newbie question, so apologies up front. I'm working with a very long, uncut roll of music for a 30-note player, and I'm wondering if there's a safe, easy way to remove a bit of roll without cycling through the whole thing. Basically, I want to test out the notes at the front, but then remove it without having to churn through all the blank material. Is there a release catch I'm missing?
I have some musical background, however, I have never composed music (apart of some riffs and chords on the guitar, and some rhythms on drums).
I have already done some research on Wikipedia and the like. However, I have not (yet) found any specific information regarding the music box and since they are multiple music boxes even on this site, it only confuses me more.
In the following, I try to summarize my questions regarding the GI30. However, answers for other music boxes are welcome as well.
My questions are: What scales are possible on the music box? ( I have read it is "mostly chromatic" which I would interpret as if it can play most of the scales ) What is the temperament of the music box? ( I assumed it is equal tempered, but I have found no information confirming this ) What is the maximal tempo in bpm, that two notes can be played consecutively ( The creator on this website marks them as red, but how does it decide? )
