Music box music purely for the ear, not the crank. (Unfortunately?) This account is for pieces designed exclusively to be listened to, not to actually be used on a music box.

On average, a 90-second piece will take me about 4 hours to make, though my longest piece on here to date, Turnabout Sisters took me only about 5 hours.
My most time-consuming piece, Finale, took me about 7.5 hours to complete over the span of 3 days (and I majorly botched it and it sounds bad and I think about taking it down every time I listen to it).
Evidently, the time is tied to both the length AND the complexity. Harder songs will take much longer, even though they can be shorter.
Usually, the easiest sheets to transpose from are piano sheets, since the sound is similar(ish), and the treble-bass combo makes a beautiful song, but most of these are transposed from piano duets.
I have no fandom limitation and will make pretty much anything lol

This one was a warm up to remind me of how to use the darn website, and to dust off my music theory. Overall, I like some parts of it but really found some chords just gross. Publishing it anyways so I can work on a new project. It's not appalling to the ear, there's just ways it can be improved, as is applicable to literally everything else on my profile. Anyways, I've been very into latin-y, tango style songs as of late, and this one has always been a fun classic. I played it before on violin and the high notes sing when you play them just right. Either way.
