This one was a warm up to remind me of how to use the darn website, and to dust off my music theory. Overall, I like some parts of it but really found some chords just gross. Publishing it anyways so I can work on a new project. It's not appalling to the ear, there's just ways it can be improved, as is applicable to literally everything else on my profile. Anyways, I've been very into latin-y, tango style songs as of late, and this one has always been a fun classic. I played it before on violin and the high notes sing when you play them just right. Either way. I'm really happy with how this turned out, but I definitely had to dust off my music theory knowledge to make it happen. This song is taken from the game Maplestory, and really it's more of a waltz than game music but that's why I like it I guess. The music in this game consists of a lot of nice composition, rather than the quick looping toons that many games now seem to favor. Also there's a key switch in here, which isn't in the original (pretty sure, anyways), but it's in the sheet music arrangement I took this from, and I liked it when I listened to it, so I decided to keep it. Anyways. Hours of my life spent making this: 6.5 hours

Heyo I'm back at it again, I highkey hated this song at first but then I realized I didn't hate it anymore and so I made this in its honor lol I acknowledge the little errors in here, but for the most part it seems alright. I had to restart this twice because I was having technical issues, so hopefully it's well enjoyed. This song has a tempo change fairly early on, but since there's no way I could make something in here 22 beats faster, I chose to double the length between each note in the introduction to the piece, making the beginning a bit painfully slow, but accurate tempo for the rest. Anyways, sorry for the long, please enjoy.

The midsection of the piece is a bit strange, due to transposition from the arrangement I used, which could call for up to twelve notes to be played at once, while I was restricted to use of only six notes simultaneously. Nevertheless, please enjoy!
